About the wool.
This cloth is part of the "The Sonsie Tweed" collection from our good friends Lovat. The Scottish Mill has developed this collection using only undyed wool from sheep raised on the wild, wind-swept Shetland Islands in the far north of Scotland.
Each individual fleece contains various shades of natural fibres which are sorted by hand and spun in Scotland making it truly sustainable. The wool is the softest of the native wools, owing its uniquely luxurious character to its rare mixture of coarse and fine, long and short fibres throughout each fleece.
